After a whole 5 years of living in Kent (3 of which were here in Tunbridge Wells) we are relocating to the Midlands. I have mixed feelings about this, mostly happy and excited because we’re heading back to where I’m from originally and I can see so much more of friends and family, but at the same time, I will so miss living in Tunbridge Wells. Well, not the property prices! But it’s been a great 3 years living right in the middle of town, strolling along to one of our favourite cafes on the weekend (Basil, The Plant Base, Black Dog), heading to jazz night on a Thursday, being able to run straight home from work. But it’s time for a new chapter in our lives which is super exciting.
I thought I would write a little post just for anyone who has followed this blog for the last 19 months to say that this will be the last post for a while so we can concentrate on moving. I haven’t yet decided whether I am going to continue blogging but I will certainly leave this blog online (mostly so I can refer back to my smoothie recipes!). If I do carry on, the name of the blog will probably need to change; I’ve had some questionable ideas from my brother which I’ve so far chosen to ignore! But we are planning to walk the West Highland Way in Scotland in a couple of weeks which I’m sure I will end up reviewing at some point in terms of routes, kit, recommendations etc, so keep an eye out for that if you’re interested. We will be walking between 8 and 18 miles each day for 7 days so having never done a walking holiday before, I’m not quite sure what we’re thinking doing one in Scotland in October but there we go! We have actually thought about vlogging it, more so as a keep sake for us as I’m sure the scenery is going to be incredible, but we may put it online if it is in any way amusing/informative/stunning, so watch this space.
Thank you so so much for reading my rambles.
Over and out.
